1. The sensor does not include the cartridge to ensure the freshest reagents possible.
There are two options for purchasing a cartridge in the United States. Outside of the United States, you need to purchase from your local Authorized Dealer

- For convenience, “Buy” reminders can be set up to receive a reminder to purchase to avoid being without reagents.

- Reminders can be deleted or added anytime. Be sure to select the “Remind me to buy reagent in 3 months” check box on the cartridge product page. Reminders can be edited from the home shopping screen, using the hamburger menu.

2. Once you’ve purchased a cartridge, proceed to “start setup”

- Tap the "Manage" button in the SmartTub app
- Tap your name to enter the account menu
- Tap "Setup Sutro Sensor"
3. Tap “Setup Spa Sense™ inline sensor
4. Tap the test tube icon from your SmartTub® home screen
5. The setup process involves a calibration process that the sensor will run to ensure performance.
These steps may take a while, follow the instructions in the app and watch for updates.
